FDR's Court-Packing Plan: A Study in Irony

Richard G Menaker in his conspiracy sounding essay titled "FDR's Court-Packing Plan: A Study in Irony" informs his audience that Franklin Roosevelt's Court packing scheme was due to FDR's moral principles of "right" and "wrong".   Menaker relates how the notorious swing justice, Jsutice Robert, started voting liberal not because of the announcement of the court packing plan, but rather for some ulterior motive. Richard G Menaker, with his conspiracy tone, makes it very clear that there was more going on behind the scenes of FDR's court packing plan.
