As Long as Grass Grows or Water Runs
·    Natives, because they were unneeded (unlike women) were dealt with with force.
·    During the American Revolution almost every important Indian nation sided with British to protect their lands, when the British signed for peace they did not protect the Natives
·    The white men outnumbered the Natives 8 to 1
·    Afetr the purchase of Louisiana the movement westward began with full force also forcefully pushing the natives out
·    The Chickasaws were granted a treaty by the US gaurenteeing them their land, but that treaty was broken
·    The natives were rightly upset about this uprooting and attempted to fight back behind Tecumseh in 1811
·    Jackson used rebellious Indians as an excuse to invade Florida

·    All during this time of removal under Andrew Jackson Congress was told that this was humane, and in fact better for the Natives because they could not possibly exist in the east
